Rick, Robin and The Unstuck In Time Band: News

We will be back at Kreutz Creek Winery Tasting Room October 2nd from 6pm to 9pm. It is a Saturday night. so all of you that complained about our Friday night gigs this one is for you. Hope to see you there!

Due to scheculing of other life around playing music problems we decided to take the summer off from performing. Rick and I are sailing off from Rome to Barcelona in August to recharge our batteries and explore music on the other side of the Atlantic ocean. I am sure we'll have our performance schedule figured out by late August. Stay tuned!

We are back at Kreutz Creek Winery Tasting Room in West Chester, PA on Good Friday which is also April 2nd this year. We will be playing from 6 pm to 9 pm. As usual you are welcome to bring any kind of food you like. They have lots of wine for sale. It's a fun spot to start off our spring performances!

Good news! Both moms are doing well - on the road to recovery! We are waiting for news about todays' weather- possible blizzard on the way! We may have to postpone tonight's gig at the Kreutz Creek Winery Tasting Room. In the meantime we are working on romantic ballads for Valentine's day!

2010 began with a whirlwind of unexpected activity. First Robin's mother went into the hospital with severe pain from a spontaneous compression fracture in her spine and we no sooner got her into the therapy center in Bryn Mawr,PA. Then Rick's mother went into the hospital for a heart valve replacement. So music took a way back seat to life. I am happy to report that both women are on the mend and we are looking forward to a happy healthy and more musical new year!

We will start the year out playing songs for an 80th birthday party. Next we are back at the Kreutz Creek Winery Tasting Room in West Chester, PA from 6 pm to 9pm. We are talking to Scuggie's in Flourtown about possibly playing there and a few other spots closer to home. We will keep you posted!

Rick and I are working on deciding which songs we are going to record on our Christmas album. We have one cut done already and are getting ready to go back into the studio to do 11 more tunes. We'll keep you posted.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone on October 30th at the Kreutz Creek Winery Tasting Room! It is Michief Night in West Chester so it should be a fun crowd! We will be back there again on December 26th, What better way to spend the day after Christmas but drinking wine and listening to jazzy Christmas carols.

It seems October is the season for beneit concerts.  This year's benefit is for a scholarship in the name of a former teacher at Robin's former elementary school. 

The Unstuck In Time Band will be playing from 1:30pm to 2:00pm.

 

We have added another gig to our fall schedule. This time we are traveling down to Nottingham, Maryland to a very neat little venue called Mystickal Voyage!
The Veranda is located in their coffee shop. The venue also has a fabulous gift and book shop. Hope you can come check it out!

We will be back at the Kreutz Creek Winery Tasting Room on two dates this fall. The first one will be Friday, September 25th and the next on October 30th. Looking forward to it! Hope you will all join us!

All twelve songs off our latest recording "Timeless" are available on Amazon.com and itunes.com as mp3's. We are hoping that this is a good thing and that it will allow friends and family as well as new listeners to be able to hear our songs. Especially those who are scattered around the country.

We just finished recording, mixing and mastering our new CD. It includes covers of jazz and pop standards. We just put a few seconds of each tune on the website. Hope you'll get a chance to listen and let us know how you like it.

Unstuck In Time will be playing from 8:30 PM to 9:00 PM this Friday, October 10th at the Chestnut Hill Presbyterian Church on Germantown Avenue in Chestnut Hiill. The concert includes 6 other acts. The show begins at 7:30 PM and concludes at 10:30 PM. The benefit is for a drive for instruments for underpriviledged music students.

Autumn is turning out to be really busy for the Unstuck In Time band. The band has been hired to play 7 Friday nights for the members dinner dining room at a local Philadelphia area country club. It's a beautiful spot and a lovely group of people to play for. We're very honored.
